The eyes are the windows to the soul - or so they say.
The eyes are also one of the most delicate areas on the face and so can show signs of ageing and skin issues earlier than other areas.
In our 'time poor' lives, we can often forget that we need to take a little extra care of the area around our eyes and that with just a few extra steps, we can care for this area and reduce our risk of premature damage.
The area around our eyes differs from the rest of the face in a few ways:

• it has virtually no sebaceaous (sweat) glands, making it prone to dryness
• it is much thinner and more delicate than the other areas of the face
• it has minimal fat padding and sits over a dense capillary network, which can lead to puffiness
• it is constantly 'stressed' by eye movements and facial expressions
