Things are afoot at sanctum....

As of the 13th of September, we will have a new face for our sanctum team.

Samantha comes to us with a background as Physiotherapy Aide for many years before she gained her Diploma in Remedial Therapies.  She has continued her association with Physiotherapy Practices even after her move to Launceston, as it combines her passion for Massage Therapy and injury management.

For now, Samantha will be available Tuesdays and can offer the following range of Massage Treatments:
Remedial and Sports
Relaxation
Pregnancy
Health Fund Rebates are also available with Remedial Treatments

We are very pleased to be able to introduce her to our Team and our Clients - we hope she will enjoy her time with us.
Samantha has a good strong style of Massage that will be a welcome relief to any aching muscles or tension you might have.
To celebrate our newest Team Member we are offering the following special throughout September:
Book a 60 Minute Massage with Samantha
receive a 20% Voucher for a future Massage Treatment

Due to outside Teaching commitments from mid September through to December, Annies' availability on Tuesdays will be restricted and so Samantha will be available for our Clients on those days.

Boutique Market wrap up

Yesterday was a good day for Market goers in Hobart.
The weather played nice and there was a great variety at the first ever Boutique Markets at the Hobart Function Centre on the waterfront.
A range of stalls selling wares from beautifully crafted jewellery, way-too-tempting cupcakes, childrens and baby goods, home wares and of course, our own red bamboo label with soaps, candles and melts.
The second market is planned for the 6th November - we have been invited back and we'd love to be part of this very well run market again.
Just a few shots from the day.
From top to bottom: red bamboo candles with a lovely back drop of Hobarts marina; adore u jewellery; luscious li'l cupcakes; nigh nigh & Bubble and the Pin shared stall; Marley & Lockyer; What Katie Did Next

Product Focus - Fragrant Soy Melts

These little Melts are a wonderfully easy way to send fragrance through a space.
Made from pure soy wax and the highest quality fragrances, our Melts average 20 hours each of fragrance time and so are extremely economical.
We use them here at sanctum to fragrance our treatment rooms as they are so easy to setup and forget about.
To use, simply place the Melt into the bowl of an Oil Burner (into the dish where you would normally place water and essential oils), light a tea light below and watch as it melts with the warmth and gently releases its fragrance.
The great thing about these Melts is that they won't evaporate, so no need to worry about cracking the Oil Burner dish if you're like me and forget to keep the water topped up - they'll simply harden again once the candle goes out.  No need to add anything!
Just keep replacing the tea light and using the Melt till the fragrance fades.
To replace the Melt is easy too - you can either wait for the wax to be melted, pour it into a bin and wipe out with a paper towel - or let the Melt harden (even popping the Oil Burner dish into the freezer for 30 minutes) and the wax will usually pop out like a little disc.
At sanctum we sell our Fragrant Melts for just $1.50 each or even better, 5 Melts for $5!
How easy is that!
The hardest thing is choosing which fragrances to take home!

upcoming Mathilda's & Boutique Markets in Hobart

Our inhouse product range, red bamboo, has been invited to be part of a combined Market effort in Hobart at the end of this month.
The well known Mathilda's Market and the Boutique Markets are joining forces to offer an amazing range of hand crafted goods.
Both markets have garnered devoted followers for their collections of hand made, designer goods stalls and fun atmospheres.
Both markets believe in the value of hand crafted items with a story behind them and often the person behind the stall is the actual maker of the products - who better to talk to?!
As a stall holder, it is a pleasure to be apart of such a great gathering of talented folks.

So, if you are in Hobart at the last Sunday of the month, drop in and say Hello!
